I had been meaning to post a few pictures of baby Gideon's room a while back...I just love how it turned out! So simple, we were definitely going for simple...it'll change a thousand times in his life time anyway! There is no real "theme" going on here...just all things BOY I guess! We were also on quite a budget for this baby...with an insurance deductible of $5,200, there's not much room to spend anywhere else! I will say, the one thing I actually spent a little money on, was his blankets! If you haven't heard of "Land of Nod" you need to check it out! They are my new FAVORITE when it comes to baby/kids items...every now and then they have great sales. :) We thrifted a few items, but most of it was just around the house! DIY projects are always cheap too!

Little Gideon just turned 8 weeks..holy cow! He's starting to grow out of his "old man" phase, haha! Such a sweet little boy. He's got an awesome temperment, which I am thankful for and is sleeping like a champ!
The other day, it was raining, so we sat outside and played a bit...
this was our entertainment...gotta love playing in the rain in your underwear!!
