I am still in shock that my youngest just turned one! Seriously...for Camille (the older sister) it seemed like it took FOREVER for her first birthday to come! But with Aliza, I feel like I've only spent a few months with her! I look at her and think, she is sooo little! Infact, she has a "friend" who is 4 months younger than her...and they look the same age! Oh well, I'm happy to have my petite little girls :)
Aliza is one...such a Happy baby from the very beginning. I think that if she wasn't such a good baby, I may not be pregnant
right now :) But she has really made our lives soooo easy! Here's a little about Aliza.....
-Slept through the night since 7 weeks
-Always nursed perfectly, and took a bottle whenever was necessary
-Smiles even when she falls down (or her sister bonks her on the head!)
-Eats ANYTHING you put in front of her
-Will go to anyone
-Always wakes up happy!
-Loves interacting with people, doesn't mind being in a large crowd
-Laughs at herself constantly (this really is hilarious to watch!)
I am so thankful for this child! She really does bring so much joy to our lives. I think her sister is going to end up learning a lot from her...her easy going, care free spirit is something Camille could use a little more of in her life :) But I am so thankful they are both so different! It has been quite an adventure to watch these two grow together! Camille is just finally so excited she has a playmate! And Aliza will follow Camille WHEREVER she goes :) When Camille is not around, she is constantly looking around for her, wondering when she's going to pop up and scare her!
Anyway...I had so much fun putting together this party! I tend to put a little extra stress on my husband during times like these...but he is such a trooper:)
Enjoy!
My darling husband made this frame to go with the button "A" I made for Aliza....Camille is going to get a matching "C" for her birthday. Once the new baby comes, the girls are going to share a room...this is only one of my plans for their room!
My mother in law made this adorable cake!!! It was covered with frosting! I really wanted to make sure Aliza got covered! However, being her dainty little self, she only put one or two fingers in the cake a a time and hardly got covered at all with frosting! After about 5 minutes with the cake, she was done, leaving the rest for Camille to sneak a few bites!
